Antonino Libertella, 86, of White Plains died June 16, 2001 at St. Agnes Hospital of natural causes after a lengthy illness. He was born September 30, 1914 in Sicily, Italy to Angela Grignano and Calogero Libertella both deceased. He married Giovanna Amato on November 11, 1947 in Sicily. Besides his wife Giovanna, he is survived by four children Charles Libertella and Ignazious Libertella both of White Plains, Angela Vinci of Gibbostown, NJ and Vincenza Libertella of Montreal, Canada, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was educated in Sicily and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in White Plains where he lived since 1970. He was a construction worker for various companies in the area. Visiting Monday and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at MCMAHON, LYON & HARTNETT FUNERAL HOME, 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains, NY. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, White Plains. Entombment at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
