Professional Football Player. Born David J. Albright, he attended and played high school football for Marina High School and college football at Chabot College and San Jose State University before starting his professional career. After graduating from college, he started his professional career in 1985 with Memphis Showboats of the USFL. After the USFL folded he was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL where he played from 1986 until 1991. Hampered by numerous injuries and knee surgery he retired from playing at the end of the 1991 season. In his six-year career in the CFL, he played in 76 games and made 377 tackles, 12 unassisted sacks, and 1 interception. He was part of the Saskatchewan Roughriders 1989 Grey Cup championship team. He passed away at the age of 63 from a heart attack.
