Larry "Misery" Blair, 78 of Elk Creek, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Larry was the son of the late Ben H. and Bessie Watts Blair. Surviving is his wife: Geraldine Dixon Blair; 2 sons: Darrel Blair of Little Colley and Robert Dale Blair of Elk Creek; 1 brother; Winford "Bean Eye" Blair of Jeremiah; 1 sister: Mary Helen Blair of Whitesburg; 1 grandson: Nicholas Blair of Campfork. Larry was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Everett, Estill, Astor, Willis and Lexter; 2 sisters: Beulah Barrier and Nancy Carol Craft. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Elwood Cornett and Jim Fields officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
