Daughter of Henry Martin and Mollie (Busch) Pinegar. Mollie later became Mrs. Helfenbein.

Mary E. Lobell passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2008. Mary was born in Higgins, Texas on December 28, 1925 to Henry and Mollie Pinegar. Mary met her husband, Carl Lobell, in Oklahoma City during World War II. They married soon after the War ended and moved to Corpus Christi. They were married for 57 years when Carl passed away in 2003. Mary was a housewife and a wonderful cook. She was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend to many. She enjoyed taking a car ride in the evenings and many Sunday barbeques with a group of long time friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Melba; and brothers, Harold, James, Charles, and Allen. She is survived by her son, grandchildren; sisters, Winn (Tommy) Studer, Geneva Avera (Gerald Scott), and Sharon (John) Masucci and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008 with a Graveside Service at Seaside Memorial Park. Corpus-Christi Caller-Times, Texas, October 19, 2008
