Gladys M. Perera, 93, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on July 31, 2020. She was born on June 16, 1927, to Jose Garrido and Trinidad Guerrero in Cuba. Mrs. Perera was a teacher in Cuba and also a seamstress. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Enrique Perera. Gladys is survived by her loving family; daughter, Gladys C. (Israel) Mendez of Kissimmee, FL; grandson, Jimmy (Catalina) Mendez of Kissimmee, FL; granddaughter, Adela Maria (Kenneth) Mendez of Orlando, FL; great-granddaughters, Gisela Adel Torres, Ariana Ledesma, Viviana Ledesma, Freya Valentina Mendez; great-grandson, Maks Emilio Mendez.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 5, 2020, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM in the chapel of Osceola Memory Gardens Kissimmee. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 6, 2020, with the time pending at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kissimmee. Interment will follow in the Garden of the Crucifix of Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery.
