She was the wife of Richard W. Brown, whom she married in 1983. She was a daughter of the late William and Florence
(Houghton) Pickard. She graduated from Littleton High School in 1939. She also attended the University of Vermont.
She worked as a telephone operator at the Band Box in Littleton. She also worked at General Radio and Conant Houghton United Elastics. In 1980, she retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
She was a life member of the Congregational Church of Littleton, and an active member of the Littleton Historical Society.
Besides her husband, survivors include six children, Richard W. Brown Jr. of Gardener, Susan King, residing in Michigan, Deborah Dunham, residing in Maine, Elaine Brown of Point Pleasant, W. Va., Carol Jones, residing in Hawaii and Donna O'Connell of New Seabury; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.
She was also the mother of the late Karen Cullen, and wife of Frank Page, who died in 1969.
