Mildred Cook Manning 84 of Suwanee passed away on 2-28-2023. She was preceded in death by husband, of 35 years, Harold Manning; parents, Rupert & Lula Williams Cook; brother, Henry Monroe Cook; and sister-in-law, Judy Cook.
Survived by daughter, Lynn B. (Jeff) Pass of Buford; son, Steve Allen of Canton; stepchildren, Michael Manning, Thomas Manning, Craig (Lora) Manning; Kyle (Wendy) Manning, and Jason Manning; granddaughter, Samantha Pass; grandchildren, Chandler, Grant, Ben Allen; brother, Horace (Niki) Cook of Buford; sister-in-law, Janice Miller Cook of Lula; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Nicholas, Anthony, Madison Manning; several nieces and nephews.
Born on 4-26-1938 in Cumming, GA, she was a 1956 graduate of Suwanee High School and a graduate of Georgia State College for Women. She was retired from Georgia Power North District Atlanta and was a former member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church. She was presently a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church. .......Her husband passed in 2021. ......
A funeral service will be held Sunday in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Linkous officiating. A Private Family Interment will be held at Sugar Hill Cemetery.
