Politician. Kazimierz Balawajder served as a member of Parliament in the the People's Republic of Poland's seventh term of the Sejm from 1976 to 1979. Balawajder graduated from the Krakow University of Economics. He then joined the Polish Youth Union, the Union of Fighting the Young, and by 1954 the Polish United Workers' Party, where he would serve in a variety of roles. This included being named a deputy member of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party and as the first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party in Krosno. He also served as the undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Food Industry and Purchase from February 1979 until his death by suicide that December.
