Marie Hagan, 93, of Effingham died at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Effingham.

Mrs. Hagan was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Bourbon, Mo., the daughter of Troy and Ethel (Lear) Andrews. She married Tony S. Hagan on Nov. 2, 1929, and he preceded her in death in 2002.

She was a homemaker and member of Calvary Tabernacle, Toledo.

Survivors include her daughter, Doris Jones of Effingham; grandchildren, Kendall (wife, Julia) Jones and Nathan (wife, Dianna) Jones, both of Effingham; great-grandchildren, Kara (husband, Adriel) Fuentes of Dyer, Ind., Sarah (husband, Peter) Rincker of Des Moines, Iowa, Rebecca (husband, James) Powers of Champaign, Tony Jones of Edwardsville and Ryan Jones of Effingham; great-great-grandchildren, Ethan and Makayla Fuentes, both of Dyer, Ind.; and sister, Irene (husband, Ronn) Schenkel of Decatur.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.

The funeral was held at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham.

Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Effingham.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Tabernacle, Toledo, or the donor's choice.
