Janet Brownfield, age 76, Grove City, died unexpectedly Saturday March 1, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Evelyn (Ebbeson) Andrick, brother; Bill Andrick, son-in-law; Bruce Weethee, granddaughter; Erin VanGundy. She is survived by her children; Randy (Debbie) Brownfield, Susan Weethee, Nancy Fitzwater, Eric Brownfield, grandchildren; Scott (Christy), Bryan (Robin), Lisa (Corby), Nicholas, Alison, and twelve great-grandchildren; Isaac "Ike" Brownfield, daughter-in-law; Theresa Nicolini, brothers; Lewis (Julia) Andrick, Larry Andrick, sister; Carol (George) Tilko, many other family members and very dear friends. Janet was a caring and loving mother whose greatest enjoyment was being with her family. She took great pleasure in celebrating all occasions and life events. She was very active with her children serving as Campfire leader and room mother throughout their childhood. She spent many hours volunteering at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Janet retired from OSU counseling center. She also worked for the Franklin County Public Defenders Office and Family Traditions in Grove City. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2008 at 11am. Interment will be at Grove City Cemetery. Pastor Lynn Huffman officiating. Contributions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Women.
