SUDDEN DEATH. | Dr. Clark Falls Dead Yesterday Evening of Heart Disease. | About 1:30 yesterday afternoon Dr. Clark dropped dead in his back yard on sixth street. Recently W. L. Hanks completed two new cottages for his son Frank Clark who is clerking the Gray-Dekle Dry Goods Co. A month since Dr. Clark and his family came here from Bartow and rented a house on Sixth street until the new houses could be completed. The family moved yesterday, and as Dr. Clark was assisting his daughter to place some flowers in the back yard when he threw up his hands with an exclamation and fell dead. He will be buried this morning by Undertaker Lovengreen in Oak Lawn cemetery. Dr. Clark has suffered for many years with heart disease, and it is supposed the exercise in moving yesterday helped to bring on the fatal stroke. | The Tampa Tribune, 19 Feb 1895

The remains of Dr. Clark were interred in Oak Lawn cemetery yesterday morning. The funeral took place from his late residence on Sixth street, Dr. W. F. Graves officiating. | The Tampa Tribune, 21 Feb 1895
