Judith Roundy White
September 24, 1944 - August 10, 2022

Judith passed away peacefully at home in West Valley City, UT surrounded by her family whom she loved with all her heart on August 10, 2022 at the age of 77. In March of 2020, Judith was diagnosed with AML. She courageously fought the disease for 2 1/2 years, always knowing the cancer was treatable but not curable.

Judith was born September 24, 1944, in Panguitch, UT to Lorena Goulding and Horace Garn Roundy. She was the 7th of 12 Children. Judith grew up in the small town of Alton, UT where she attended elementary school at the little schoolhouse right across the street from her home. Her high school years were spent at Valley High School in Orderville, UT where her entire graduating class of 1962 had a total of 17 students. Judith left home after graduation to attend college. She moved to Salt Lake and lived with family so she could go to beauty school.

While in Salt Lake, Judith met and married Sherman Brent White on October 7, 1964. Later the marriage was solemnized in the St. George temple. They started a family and had seven beautiful children. They made their home in West Valley City, UT. This October they would have celebrated 58 years together. Judith served those around her through her various church callings and volunteering at school and other civic activities. Many will fondly remember her as their neighborhood hairstylist and hometown Halloween "queen".

After raising her children, Judith had a successful career with WPMA where she worked her way up from the mailroom to the position of Executive Assistant and Tradeshow Coordinator. She accomplished many great things throughout her career and built many meaningful relationships which she treasured. After her retirement, the association honored her as the second woman ever to be inducted into their Hall of Fame, an honor she never expected but was truly humbled to be held in such high regard.

Judith is survived by her husband Sherman Brent White; children Shirl (Debbie) White, Sharon (Duane) Gansereit, Mark (Kim) White, Martin (Tammy) White, Chameill (Alex) Lamb, and Brenda (Nathan) Shimoda; 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her baby girl Jeannie White, her parents Horace and Lorena Roundy, and siblings Florence Willard, Vern Roundy, and Rayda Roundy.

Family viewing will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Alton, UT chapel. Burial will follow at the Alton Cemetery at noon.

Memorial service will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Copperhill Third Ward 6755 W 3800 S WVC, UT.

The family wishes to give special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Loveland Clinic at LDS Hospital and Symbii Hospice Co.

The only thing mom ever wanted in life was to be a wife and a mother. She was a simple woman and always got right to the point. In her exact words, quote "She lived, she loved the Lord and her family, she died!"
