KILGORE - Graveside services for Homer Dempsey, 84, of Kilgore, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. James Henderson officiating. Arrangements are by Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore. Mr. Dempsey died March 1, 2008, in Longview.
Born April 27, 1923, in Houston, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II and the Korean Conflict, and retired from Eagle Trucking Co. Survivors include his wife, Tomma Dempsey; and children, Rita Shanks, Learlene Sanford, David Dempsey, Cathy Nance and Sally Harden.
