Donald "Keith" Alston, 67, of Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel. Keith will be laid to rest next to his wife in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the funeral services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the funeral home.
Born August 19, 1955 in Greensboro to the late Joe Kent Alston and Geraldine Smith Alston, Keith was of the Christian faith. He worked as an Electrician for 29 years with AC Corporation. Keith was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping with friends and cooking for his family and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his adoring wife Patricia Jones Alston; a daughter, Krista Dawn Alston; brothers, Richard Alston, Robert Alston and John "Buddy" Alston.
Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Jessica Nicole Lauer; sisters, Carol Leonard and Teri Masten; granddaughters, Emmy Kate and Laiken Elizabeth Miller; and other extended family and friends.
