Mrs. Gooch was born in Melbourne, Wash., and had lived in Salinas for less than a year. She was a retired clerk with the Eldorado County Health Department.
Mrs. Gooch is survived by her two sons, Clifford Chamberlain of Salinas, and Robert Chamber-lain of Modesto; a daughter, Nancy Gooch of Kalispell, Mont,; a brother, Everrett Wilkins of Montesano, Wash.; three sisters, Esther Rifenberg of Modesto, Viola Hopkins of Sacramento, and Helen Hennigh of Seymour, Mo.; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will begin at 10 a. m. Tuesday at the Struve & Laporte Funeral Chapel. Private inurnment will be in the Garden of Memories.
