"Melinda" Jordan's name is actually correctly spelled "Malinda". The correct spelling of her first name is on the large Jordan family marker. Not sure why there is the headstone that says "Melinda wife of James C. Jorden" or who placed it there but her first name and the last name o the small marker are misspelled. Malinda was first buried in the Jordan cemetery up the hill n.w. of the Jordan house. She was moved to the newer Jordan Cemetery several years later when the newer Jordan cemetery was made.
