FRANCIS A. WICKER

Francis A Wicker, 2929 Prospect Avenue, diedTuesday, September 9, 1986, in Scranton State General Hospital after an illness. His widow was the former Alma Hofsommer.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank and Winifred Noone Wicker, he was a retired machinist from the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and its Mens and Women's society, and the Dante Club, of which he was past president. He was also a member and past president of the Connell Park Little League.
Also surviving were two daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Lee, Okemos, Michigan, and Mrs Nancy Kaufmann, Tunkhannock; two sons, John, Philadelphia, and Robert, Harrisburg; two sisters. Mrs. Lilian Conmff, Washington, DC., and Mrs. Howard Hofsommer, Syracuse, New York; a brother, Paul, Syracuse; 11 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His funeral was from the Neil W. Regan Funeral Home, 1900 Pittston Avenue, with Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church.
Interment was in Jermyn Cemetery, Jermyn.
