Mrs. Anita M. Alexander died at 9:45 p.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport where she had been a patient about one month. She was 58. A resident of 668 N. Nicholson Ave., Long Beach, Mrs. Alexander was a housewife. She was born in Long Beach, Dec. 24, 1909. Survivors include her husband, Edgar H. Alexander, Long Beach; four sons, Charles, Curtis and Gilbert Alexander, all of Long Beach, and Gary Alexander, Gulfport; five daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hauer and Mrs. Judy Crosby, both of Long Beach; Mrs. Patsy Watts, Camden, S. C., Mrs. Peggy Cowart, Orange Grove and Mrs. Shirley Ferro, Omaha Neb., 25 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Virginia Baker, Long Beach and two brothers, Alfred Cox, Pass Christian, and George Cox, Dayton, Ohio. Friends may call at Riemann Funeral Home chapel in Long Beach after 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 a.m. Sunday from the Long Beach funeral chapel. The Rev. Durrie B. Hardin of Trinity Episcopal Church will officiate. Interment will be in Allen Cemetery, Long Beach.
