Copeland- Patricia (Pat) Ludden Croft, 87, left this life on August 1, 2018 at the Shepherd's Center in Cimarron. She was born on October 28, 1930 at Morrill, Nebraska, the daughter of Chauncey and Eunice (Harris) Ludden.

Pat received her early education in rural schools and graduated in 1948 from Torrington High School in Torrington, Wyoming. Pat married James Croft on July 3, 1952 in Torrington, Wyoming. They lived in many places in Nebraska and Wyoming until they settled in Garden City, Kansas in 1972, where they lived until Pat retired. After retiring, they lived on the road and visited all but one of 50 states. Pat moved to Copeland, Kansas after the death of her husband. In October of 2017, Pat moved to the Shepherd's Center in Cimarron, Kansas. She enjoyed knitting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and loved to garden.

She was a member of the Copeland Christian Church.

Pat is survived by three sons, J.T Croft and wife Shelia of Copeland, Kansas, Steven Croft and wife Joyce of Durham, Kansas, and Karl Croft of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; one daughter, Susan Holmes and husband Vance of Gering, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren, Clay (Kenzey) Croft, Coulter Croft, Carly Croft, Misty Croft, Shandra Croft, Jason Croft, Steven (Jalisha Davis) Croft, Justin (Rebecca McManigal) Croft, Katelyn (Troy) Seaman, Nathaniel Croft, Chelsea (Michael) Voth, and Sterling Holmes; 11 great grandchildren, Kamdyn and Kenna Croft, Brayden, Makenzie, and Riley Thomas, Breckin and Jaxon Croft, Camdyn Hoskinson, Jeremie Seaman, James and Nolan Voth; one sister, Sharon Hochsprung; and two brothers, Harley Ludden and wife Nancy and Chris Ludden. She is preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents; three sisters, Glenna Knoepfle, Tressa Arnold, and Jacqueline Anderson, and one brother, Harris Ludden.

Memorial service will be held at Copeland Christian Church, Copeland, Kansas on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM with Pastor Cory Clark presiding. In honoring Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
