RANDLEMAN - Thelma Layton Capps, age 73, of 3826 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.
Mrs. Capps was born December 31, 1934 the daughter of Price L. and Jessie M. (Chappell) Layton.
She was a native of Jackson Springs, NC and a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her sister, Bernice Young.
She is survived by her husband: Julice Buddy Capps and one niece Shirley Young Moore of Rockingham, NC.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 4, 2008, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Bethany United Methodist Church, Franklinville with Rev. Russell J. Brownworth officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
