Death of a Kind Woman -- Mrs. Gibbons, wife of John Gibbons of Columbia, mother of Mrs. John H. Shine of this place (Sonora), died suddenly in San Francisco on Oct. 26th. Her remains were brought to Columbia and interred in the Catholic cemetery of that place. Her death is sincerely regretted by the entire community where she so long lived and reared her family. Possessed of a lively, genial disposition she will be missed; her extreme kindness in cases of distress and sickness will long endear her memory to all that knew her.
