Blanche C. Cullen, age 94, of rural Dagsboro, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday March 7, 2008 surrounded by her loving family at Genesis Elder Care Nursing Home in Seaford.
She was born in Frankford daughter of the late, Greensbery Lambert Shockley and Elizabeth (Steen) Shockley. She was a homemaker and farmer. Blanche was a member of the Frankford United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Cullen; children, Amos Cullen, Clinton Cullen, Anna Mae Davis and Theresa Collins.
She is survived by children, Lawrence Cullen of Roxana, Evelyn Davis of Parksley, VA, Alice Davidson of Dagsboro, DE, Elaine Townsend of Seaford, DE, and Eva Tindall of Seaford, DE; 18 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 12, at 2 pm at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St, Frankford, DE, 19945, where friends may call after 1 pm. Burial will be in Mariner's Bethel Cemetery in Ocean View.
