She was born May 8, 1948, at St. Johns Hospital to Robert (Bob) and Deloris Murphy.
She was a 1966 graduate of Madison Heights High School and was a lifelong Anderson resident. She was a Methodist church member and retired from Fort Benjamin Harrison in 2000. She had worked for Strickler Hardware and Montgomery Ward, she owned a ceramic shop in her basement for many years. She had a love for a lot of different things such as ceramics, camping, and bass fishing, and for being the best storyteller. Most of all she loved being a Grandma.
Living to cherish her memory is her husband of 57 years Fredrick Dunwiddie to whom she married July 11, 1966. Son Fredrick (Jill) Dunwiddie, six grandchildren Kathy(Shawn) Everage, Lacey(Greg) Krathwohl, Melody (Nate) Dunwiddie, Megan (Barry) Dunwiddie, Shyanne Dunwiddie, Ted (Zoey) Dunwiddie and 12 great-grand children, her mother Deloris Murphy, sisters Kathy Kissick, Jane (Basil ) Lewellyn and brothers, Bob (Susan) Murphy and Paul Murphy.
She is preceded in death by her son Ted Dunwiddie, father Robert Murphy, granddaughter Ayrika Dunwiddie, grandmother Helen Briggs, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her beloved dog Abby.
