Lawrence Eugene "Larry" Hundley, 82, of Liberty, Missouri formerly of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the North Care Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on June 9, 1940 in Horton, Kansas the son of Clay and Elizabeth Pearle (Moore) Hundley. After graduating from high school Larry served in the U.S. Airforce. He worked as an aircraft mechanic for Continental Airlines and Fed Ex before retiring. On September 8, 1962 he married Constance Peterson. Survivors include a daughter, Shawn McNea of Liberty, Missouri; son, Lawrence "Gene" (Cindy) Hundley Jr. of Porter, Texas; two brothers, Sam (Dawn Joan) Hundley of Springdale, Arkansas and Jerry (Judy) Hundley of Lawrence, Kansas; two sisters, Mildred "Millie" (Wayne) Horlacher of Colby, Kansas and Shirley (Sy) Nyhard of Leavenworth, Kansas; five grandchildren, Christopher Pike, Taylor McNea, Morgan McNea, Amanda Adams and Hannah Hundley; seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Connie Hundley, son, Paul Ashton Hundley, two brothers, James Hundley and William Hundley, and a sister, Carol Eckert. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas with burial at the Wheatland Cemetery southwest of Horton, Kansas.
