Miss Sessie Jane Hill was born in Bramwell, W.V. on April 7, 1875. She was the daughter of Felix Shelton and Nancy Ellen Dickson-Dixon Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Cora Hill Rice and three brothers, Jones, Jess and Wiley Hill.
She died Wednesday, May 3, 1961 in Bramwell, W.V. She was survived by one brother John W. Hill of Roanoke, Va. and one sister, Miss Nora Florence Hill of the home.
Services were held at the Bramwell Methodist Church on May 5, 1961 2 p.m.
Officiating were Reverends Don Kahle and A.L. Sypolt.
Pallbearers were nephews: Herman Hill, Ray Hill, Clifton Hill, Harold Hill, Hampton Hill and Frank Rice.
Flowerbearer were friends of the family.
Interment was in the Hill Family Cemetery on Bramwell Hill in Bramwell, W.V.
