JOSEPH B. SEAVERS
Funeral services for Joseph B. Seavers, 58, of Orland, will be conducted at 10 a. m. Wednesday in the F. D. Sweet and Son Mortuary chapel in Orland. The Rev. Wendell Pew of the First Christian Church of Chico will officiate. Burial will follow in the Orland Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Seavers was born May 11, 1920 in Orland. He was a lifetime resident of the Orland area. He died September 9 in a Chico hospital.
He is survived by his widow, Evelyn Seavers of Orland; a son, James Seavers of Newport, Oregon; four daughters, Mrs. Patricia Evans of Vacaville, Mrs. Barbara Roberts and Mrs. Caryl Grundy both of Orland and Shelley Seavers of Adak, Alaska; his mother, Mrs. Viola Seavers of Orland; two sisters, Katherine Hartsough of Sacramento and Virginia Donaldson of Orland and 12 grandchildren.
