Benjamin Franklin Kronk. 67, of Toms Brook, was found dead of a heart attack in his parked car alongside U. S. Rt. 11. opposite the Valley Pike Church of the Brethren. a mi!e south of Maurertown, about 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.

The parked car was noticed there about 11:30 a m., but it was not until early afternoon, that someone stopped to find Mr. Kronk dead and slumped over in the car. He had suffered of a heart ailment for several years.

Dr. H. W. Miller. Shenandoah County Medical Examiner, issued a certificate of death caused by a heart attack. Mr. Kronk had been employed for 22 years by the Toms Brook Lime and Stone Company, Inc. He retired about two years ago. He was a veteran of World War 1, a member of the Modern Woodmen of America, and of the Toms Brook Ev. United Brethren Church.

He was a son of Edward and Dora Walton Kronk, and was born in Toms Brook on February 16, 1890.

On August 30, 1917, he married Miss Ethel May Hahn, who died about 16 years ago.

Seven children survive. They are Ralph Kronk, Strasburg; Mrs. Hilda Neff. Toms Brook; Mrs. Janet Estep. Strasburg; Mrs. Louise Haunsenfluck, Front Royal; Miss Betty Kronk, at home; Buddy Kronk. U. S. Air Force, based at Long Beach, Calif.; and Harland Kronk. U S. Air Force, based in Puerto Rica. One son. Marion Lee Kronk died March 20. 1032.

Also. surviving are four sisters and two brothers. They are Mrs. Clay Carey, Philadelphia, Pa.; Mrs. Frank Bauserman, Toms Brook; Mrs. Pearl Funk. Alexandria; Charles Kronk, Toms Brook; and Guy Kronk, Strasburg. Seven grandchildren also survive.

The body is at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:30 from the Evangelical United Brethren Church with the Rev. Gordon Baylis and the Rev. Harold Weiss officiating.

Burial will be made in the Toms Brook Cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Dorman Brill. Louis Newland. Robert Peer, Bitl Yew. Louis Funk and Leroy Ritenour. The flower girts will be: Jean Mumaw. Frances Rakes, Wanda Hamman. Shirley Ludwig, Patricia Keller. and Jane Pyne.

The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 to lie in state.
