Lecontes Mills - Hobart Beauseigneur, 65, of LeContes Mills died at 4 p.m. yesterday in the Clearfield Hospital.
At the time of his death he was a Girard Township supervisor, a post he had held for 24 years.
Mr. Beauseigneur was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and active in civic and community affairs.
Born in Girard Township Aug. 18, 1904, he was a son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Newcomb) Beauseigneur.
He is survived by his wife, the former Erma Taylor, and these children: Keith, Clearfield; Mrs. John (Leona) Davis, Ridgway and Mrs. Doyel (Ann) Lansberry, DuBois. Seven grandchildren survive along with a brother, Sheridan of LeContes Mills, and a sister, Mrs. Beulah Collins of Hyde.
Requiem Mass will be held at 10:39 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Louis Heverlein as celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call in the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
