Mrs. Irene Buck, 74, wife of Frank Buck of 506 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield, died in her home today, March 2, at 2:30 a.m.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Francis Catholic Church and the Auxiliary of the Third Ward Hose Company.
Born at Grampian Feb. 24, 1893, a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Newcombe) Beauseigneur, she is survived, in addition to her husband, by the following five children: Edward T. and Mrs. Barton (Bette) Thompson, Clearfield; Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Schell, Anaheim, Calif.; William H., Albuquerque, N.M.; and Mrs. William (Rosalie) Koeheler, Camp Hill.
Five children preceded her in death.
Twenty-two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Inez Bolents and Mrs. Beulah Collins, Clearfield; and Sheridan and Hobard Beauseigneur, LeContes Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call in the Nicholson Funeral Home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until the hour of services Saturday.
The Rosary will be recited in the funeral home tomorrow night.
