from Washington Hospital of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. She
worked in civilian hospitals for four years and then entered the US Air Force Nurse
Corp. She had assignments in Germany, Greece, and in Japan and several
assignments in the United States. During her time in the Air Force, she received a
Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing. She is survived
by her niece Barbara Kovachick of Hiller, PA; nephew, Richard Pahula of
Brownsville, PA and Mark Rasnick of Strongsville, Ohio.
Immediate Family and Close Friends will be received at The Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street,
Brownsville, PA 15417, Date and Times of Memorial Visitation and Service to be announced.
Interment to follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, with Military Honors accorded by the United States Air
Force and the Hopwood AMVETS.
