Isaac Newton Thompson, 90, who formerly resided in the Knoxlyn area, died Wednesday at 5:00 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ray Ogburn, Bladensburg, Md., following an illness of six weeks.
He was born in Lemington, Ontario, Canada, a son of the late William and Hannah Imeson Thompson. He was a farmer and was a member of the Marsh Creek Church of the Brethren. His wife died in 1950.
Surviving are six children, Mrs. Thomas Tatum and st. Clair Thompson, both of Greenwood, Del.; Mrs. Curtis Farrow, Westover, Md.; Mrs. A.T. Rosander, Richland, Wash.; Carl V., Gettysburg R2, and Mrs. Ogburn, 24 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one sister Mrs. Sadie Ciliski, Canada.
Funeral services Saturday at 2:00 at the Allison funeral hoe, Fairfield, conducted by the Revs. Walter Keeney and Robert Knechel. Interment in Pfoutz's cemetery, Marsh Creek.
