JUNIOR'S OBITUARY
Junior Van Burton, 64 of North Vernon, Indiana, formerly of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away April 25, 2023 at his residence. He was born October 11, 1958 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Van Burton and Elizabeth (Burton) Campbell.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Sharron Kimbler of North Vernon, Indiana, daughters, Jennifer Burton of North Vernon, Indiana and Jamie (Eric) Casto of Franklin, Indiana, grandchildren, Elizabeth Torres of Ogilville, Indiana, Johnathon Meier (Trystan Horden) of Columbus, Indiana, Nicholas Meier (Sean Stogsdill) of North Vernon, Indiana, Ashton Thomas (Jeff Richards) of Madison, Indiana, Tyler Thomas (Julie Burnhart) of Taylorsville, Indiana, Justin Burton (Mindy Satterfield) of Hope, Indiana, Zander Casto of Franklin, Indiana, and Ethan Brown of Florida, 10 great-granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons, brothers, Jimmy (Marilyn) Burton of Edinburgh, Indiana, Jackie Ray Burton of Taylorsville, Indiana, and Jerry Burton of Franklin, Indiana, and sisters, Judy Coy of Edinburgh, Indiana and Julie Long of Franklin, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Walter Campbell, son, Jarvis Burton, and brothers, James Wesley Burton, Jeffery Lynn Burton, and Johnny M. Burton.

Junior Van was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Edinburgh. He retired from Arvin Industries in Franklin after 25 years. He spent all of his life taking care of his 2 kids. He enjoyed going to car shows, especially muscle cars, festivals, fishing, mushroom hunting, relaxing at home, and spending time with his girlfriend.

A funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Randy Denton at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
