Dorothy (Jagemann) Dicke was born in Manitowoc June 13, 1927 to William and Ethel (Naumann) Jagemann. She died May 2, 2022 surrounded by loving family. Dorothy graduated from Lincoln High school in 1945, and married Bill Dicke at St. Boniface church on July 31, 1948.
Dottie had 94 blessed years of a wonderful healthy life filled with love and FUN! Her positive attitude in life was an inspiration to all.
Dorothy was happiest when she was: spending time in Door County with husband, Bill, seeing her 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, laughing with those around her which she frequently instigated, attending Sunday virtual mass with Bishop Ricken, golfing up until age 86, knitting, baking, and making strawberry jam, playing Bridge and lunching with her friends while sharing a pitcher of beer, watching "Everyone Loves Raymond" and "Frasier," enjoying happy hour with an old fashioned, building puzzles with family, staying technologically savvy and connected with family on Facetime, Snapchat, and texting with her special emojis.
Surviving family includes five children, Steve (Veronica) Dicke, Cindy (Dick) Zalewski, Cathy (Phil) Eck, Debbie (Dean) Larson, and Dawn (Tom) Wallin; 17 grandchildren, Kiley (Aaron) Hayon, Zach Zalewski, Jessie (Matt Lacuesta) Eck, Jerek (Wendy Landenberger) Dain, Mark (Marina) Zalewski, Danielle Wallin, Robyn (Donovan O'Connor) Eck, Matt Wallin, Eric Dicke, Alexis Dicke, Casey (Erik) Sweeney, Dylan (Liz Jansen) Larson, Taylor Larson, Michelle Dicke, Elizabeth Wallin, William Dicke, and Sabrina Dicke; 12 great-grandchildren, Preston Hayon, Landen Hayon, Zachary Dain, Ollie Hayon, Emerson Eck Lacuesta, Charlie Wallin, Marcelo Zalewski, Remington Bergmann, Cameron Wallin, Berkley Eck Lacuesta, Madalena Zalewski, and Manu Zalewski; sister, Judy Remaker; and sister-in-law, Nancy Jagemann.
