John D. Cooper, 53, of Kennedy, formerly of Oneonta, N.Y., died Saturday, Dec 4, 2004. Beloved husband of Joan (Ritchko) Cooper. Loving father of Karen M. Cooper and Kelly D. Sheets (Raymond). Dear brother of Joseph, Constance Holmes, Roger and Barbara Golja. He was preceded in death by his parents, David S. and Rachael M. Cooper, and brother, David M. Cooper. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at MCDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy, (412) 771-4455, family-owned and -operated since 1886. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Malachy Church.
