Willis' death certificate shows he was buried in Maple Hill cemetery in New Harmony, IN.
It appears that he and Amanda had divorced which is likely why he was not buried in the spot with the tombstone in Maumee. Willis was listed with a wife Catherine in New Harmony in 1930.
Amanda was remarried and also died in 1948 on March 1, 1948. Her married name was Schneider per her death certificate.
It shows she was buried in Maumee, likely next to her son Willis although the death certificate shows her birthdate as 19 Mar, 1865 which matches the Mar 1865 entry in the 1900 census.
Her parents were listed as William P. Waters and Sarah E. Garrett.
