He was a scout under General Wm. Henry Harrison in 1813, He served under General Andrew Jackson in the War of 1812 Agalde, San Felipe de Austin. He was a Delegate to the Covention of Texas 1832-1833, and a Member Consultation in 1855. He was the Captain of A Company Army of Texas March 7th, 1836 to May 15th, 1836. He was Chief Justice of Fort Bend County from 1838-1841. This was erected by the State of Texas in 1936.
