Mr. Ancil Blankenship, 52, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Sunday in Indianapolis. He was a member of Stanfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Blankenship of Indianapolis; sons, Johnny Tony, and Danny Blankenship, all of Elk Valley; daughters, Mrs. Bernice Ellis of Indianapolis, Mrs. Ella Mae Wethington of Indianapolis, Mrs. Kathy Pickerell and Mrs. Juanita West both of Cincinnati, Mrs. Karen Wittie of Virginia; brothers, Walter Blankenship of Oneida, Bill Blankenship of Cincinnait; half-brothers, Earl Blankenship of Indiana, Arvid Blankenship of Elk Valley, Dan Noble of Idaho; half-sisters, Mrs. Mable Gibson of Jacksboro, Mrs. Edna Blankenship of Georgia, Mrs. Nella Blankenship of Kentucky, Mrs. Chloe Smith and Mrs. Jimmie Baird both of Knoxville.

Funeral services were held Thursday at New Canaan Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Owens and the Rev. Carl Sharp. Burial was in Terry Creek Cemetery. Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
