Charles Summer Henderson, who died at his residence at 90 East Seventh Street Sunday afternoon, will be buried this afternoon, the funeral services being held at the home of the deceased at 2:30. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Mount and interment will take place in the IOOF Cemetery.
The deceased was 40 years, 6 months and 20 days old at the time of his death and was born in Marion County, but was raised in Eugene, where his life was spent. His father was the Rev. E. P. Henderson, an early pioneer of this section of the state, and was president of Columbia College, supported by the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, located out at College Hill.
The deceased leaves a wife and little son. Besides his immediate family he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Marrietta Thurston, and two brothers, King and Melver Henderson of Lane County.
