Funeral services for Jewell Marie VERNON, 86, of Muldrow, are being held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, with the Revs. Randy Farmer and Sankie Lynch officiating.Burial is in Blackjack Cemetery northwest of Muldrow, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. She was born on Aug. 10, 1917, in Muldrow, to Willie BUTLER and Elvira DAWES. She died on Monday, Aug. 2, 2004, in Sallisaw. She married Thomas Price VERNON on April 28, 1960, in Fort Smith. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 1999. Survivors include one daughter, Winnell; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Cleo and Imogene. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby CASON on May 25, 1993.
