Allen David Duncan, Jr., also known as "Duncan" and "Pap", 97, of Colonial Beach passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He was a retired bricklayer and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a World War II Army Veteran. Allen loved to mow lawns around Colonial Beach and for neighbors and also enjoyed word find puzzles. He was preceded in death by his young daughter Barbara Ellen Duncan and his wife Doris M. Duncan.
Allen is survived by his children Donna Duncan Shipe (Robert) of Martinsburg, WV and Allen David Duncan of Falling Waters, WV; his daughter-in-law Nola Duncan of Hagarstown, MD; step-son Patrick O'Reilly Bartlett (Jean) of King George; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, King George. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
