Another Flower Transplanted

The Death Angel has again been in our midst, and this time it carried away the sweet young soul of little Hendon Conner. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Conner and had been quite ill for a week with pneumonia after measles. Physicians, nurses, and loved ones engaged in almost superhuman efforts to save his life, but God willed it otherwise. on Saturday morning just at daylight, and he fell asleep in Jesus.
Funeral services were conducted from the home of grandparents - Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Hendon. He was laid to rest amid the lovely flowers which testified great love for him.
Little Hendon was seven years of age, and was a brilliant, manly child whose lovely traits of character had endeared him to every one who knew him. To know him was to love him; he was so gentle and affectionate, and his little heart was generous, open, and fine. He dearly loved his Sunday School, Sunbeam Band and Church, and never missed a service unless very sick. He brought a glad message of joy, love, and faith, and he has now gone to be reunited with his dear little sister, Lallah, and his cousin, Winifred who preceded him only by a few days.
