George was a Corporal in Company A New York Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. They were principally recruited from Rochester, Buffalo, Niagra and Kingston. They mustered in on June 18 1863 and mustered out on Apr 20 1866. The flag on the right was their "Flank Marker". The table on right is the casualty list for the war. Click on it to enlarge.
