Rex Pemberton Boatright of 274 Calhoun St. died Wednesday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at Connelley Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Boatright was born Feb. 1, 1909, at Harrisburg, Ill., a son of the late Charles Boatright and Mrs. Maude Pemberton Boatright. He was a retired employee of C.B. Prentiss Co., and was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Ellen Anderson Boatright of Charleston; a sister, Mrs. Aline LeMonde of Mount Vernon, Ill., several nieces and nephews.
