DIANE Marie SPARKS ABRAO, 47, of Las Vegas, formerly of Fremont, Calif. passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2005 due to complications of alpha-1. She was a records technician for the Las Vegas Metroploitan Police Department. Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Sparks. She was survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Joseph, and their three sons, Mark, Kyle, both of Las Vegas, and Anthony currently serving in the U.S. Navy; father, Leland Sparks; four brothers, John of Prundale, Calif., Tom of Grass Valley, Calif., Tony of Pleasanton, Calif.; George of San Jose, Calif.; three sisters, Patty, Kathy both of Elk Grove, Calif., twin sister Nancy Jo of Fremont, Calif.; and a granddaughter. She was a great-grandchild of late Nevada Governor John Sparks. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alpha-1 Association.
