SISTER ANGELICA SIMON, CSA
Sister Angelica Simon, CSA, 85, a resident of St. Francis Home, passed away Sunday, May11, 2003, at the home.
She was born March 12, 1918, in St. Kilian, a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Schrauth Simon.
She professed vows in the Congregation of St. Agnes on Aug. 15, 1950. She ministered as a homemaker and nursing assistant in Indiana and Wisconsin.
Survivors include two sisters, Sister Roseann Simon, CSA, and Sister Thecla Simon, CSA, both of Fond du ac; one brother, the Rev. Ambrose Simon, OFM Cap., of Appleton; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends; and by members of the Congregation of St. Agnes with whom she ministered
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony, Andrew, Bernard, Joseph and Conrad; and one sister, Odilia Simon.
Services: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 6:30 p.m. today, May 13, 203 at St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett St. The Rev. Edward F. Sippel and her brother, the Rev. Ambrose Simon, OFM Cap., will concelebrate the Mass. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at St. Joseph's Springs Cemetery.
Visitation: Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. today, May 13, 2003, at Nazareth Court, 375 Gillett St., where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.
Zacherl Funeral Home is serving the congregation.
