He was born May 17, 1925 in Faix, TN to Roy and Sarah (Pritchard) Storie. He was a member of Calvary Church, a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army, a school bus driver, farmer, mechanic and a wood worker.
Hivus is survived by (1) Daughter: Cheryl Coleman and Husband: David; (2) Sons: Bob Storie, Bill Storie and Wife: Bernice; (10) Grandchildren: Alison Storie, Robin Storie Beaty, Dee Dee Storie Buck, Taylor Storie, Jonathan Storie, Joshua Storie and Bethany Wright; (10) Great-Grandchildren: Cierra, Jonathan, Brayden, Alex, Jacob, Eli, Makaylee, Sawyer, Aubree and Lanie. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Roy and Sarah Storie; Wife: Anna Marie Storie; Daughter-In-Law: Alice Storie; (3) Brothers: Havus, Baxter and Estil Storie; (6) Sisters: Emma Clark, Maedell Alvey, Duell Reagan, Lola Cross, Amma Brown and Ada Bilbrey
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from Calvary Church with Bro. Travis Simpson and Bro. Terry Kendrick officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by Hull-York Chapter 5 DAV and American Legion Post #137.
