Myra P. Lesoine, 81, of Stroudsburg, passed away Sunday at Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Lesoine, who passed away in 1991.
Born April 16, 1923, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Mary Ann (Weiss) Perry. She was a member of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society in East Stroudsburg.
Myra worked at the Colonial Diner in Stroudsburg for 10 years as a waitress. Prior to that, she was employed as a nurse's aid at Pocono Medical Center.
She was an avid bingo player and square dancer and loved going to Atlantic City.
Surviving are three sons, H. Dean Lesoine of Stroudsburg, Donald C. Lesoine of Stroudsburg, and Dale A. Lesoine and his wife Milinda of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Christina Papcsy and Donald P. Lesoine, both of Orlando, Fla., Danielle Lesoine of Catasauqua, Lauren Lesoine of Stroudsburg, Josh Lesoine and Teddy Lesoine, both of Fernandina Beach, Fla.; one brother, Harrison Perry of Shippensburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Schiler Dean Lesoine.
