Our loving mother, Teresa Herrera, age 78, of Dripping Springs, Texas, passed away January 8, 2004. Teresa had been a resident of Dripping Springs for the past 52 years. She was a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church and a member of the Senior Citizens in Dripping Springs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Guerrero and sister, Mary Lou Leal. Survivors include her husband, Louis Herrera of Dripping Springs; daughters, Rachel Ribera and husband, Andrew of Austin; Beatrice De Los Santos of Dripping Springs, Angie Castillo and Sam of Austin, Alice Robles and husband, Erven of Burnet, Elena Saucedo of Kyle, Clara Mendez and husband, Adrian of Austin; sons, Flo Herrera and Joe Herrera of Austin, Ray Herrera and Dawnia of Dripping Springs, and Jesse Herrera of Oak Hill; and mother, Juana Guerrero of Boerne. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2004, with recitation of rosary at 7:00 p.m. at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated 4:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2004, at St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church, Dripping Springs. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Dripping Springs. Pallbearers are Anthony Ribera, Mark Ribera, Nathan DeLos Santos, Adrian Robles, Michael Herrera, Rudy Saucedo, Joseph Herrera and Wally Herrera. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Herrera, Christopher Robles and Cody Herrera. Special thanks to Dr. Sunil Cheruku for his concern and care.
