He was a native of Cocke Couunty, Tenn., retired from Centre Sports Ware, a veteran of World War II serving in the Marines and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Jemison, Ala.
Services were Saturday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m., in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. James Rainey officiating. Burial was in Cherokee Memory Gardens with Perry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Reed is survived by his wife, Leona Webb Reed; a son, Terry (Donna) Reed of Maryville, Tenn.; a step son, Randy (Sara) Graves of Collinsville; a step daughter, Dale (Marlin) Eubanks of Centre; a brother, Charleston Reed of Maryville, Tenn.; a sister, Josie Douglas of New Port, Tenn., five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
