Funeral services for Mrs. Norman Seitz were conducted at the Spur Methodist Church, 3:00 o'clock, Wednesday, January 10, the Rev. J.E. Harrell officiating. Rev. Harrell was assisted by Rev. R.C. Brown of the First Christian Church of Spur.
Mrs. Seitz, a member of the Methodist Church since early girlhood, was born Nellie B. Albin, May 7, 1909, at Rochester, Texas. She came to Spur at the age of eight with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.O. Albin. She attended the Spur schools until her senior year and was graduated from Lubbock High in 1928. After working as assistant bookkeeper for West Texas Utilities at Spur and latter as head bookkeeper for the same company of Aspermont, she entered Draughons Business College at Lubbock. Finishing in the fall, she took a position with the Corcanges Sports Shop in Lubbock. On December 12, 1937, she was married to Norman Seitz at Clovis, New Mexico.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Seitz and daughter Julia of Lubbock, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.O. Albin of Spur, three sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Lena Matur, Mrs. Annie Stotts, Henry Albin of Oklahoma City, John Albin, Ferrell Albin and Julia Mae Albin, of Spur. All were present at the funeral.
